The COALESCE N&R hubs are organisations across Europe with expertise in science communication in their respective countries/regions. Together, they form a network at the heart of the Competence Centre and can serve as multipliers of its activities in their respective countries.
The hubs play a crucial role in raising the profile of the Competence Centre at local level whilst enhancing their reputation at the European level, contributing to build an international network and a structure that will endure in time.
Their role entails
- Co-creating, adapting and raising awareness of tools, resources;
- Hosting activities and training;
- Establishing or reinforcing local Communities of Practice;
- Push for national policies and science communication recognition, among relevant science communication stakeholders in their countries.
New N&R hubs will be established throughout the COALESCE project, following annual periods for expressions of interest from selected countries, to be announced in the second half of each year.
